I had a color theme in mind before participating in "blog-hopping" – red and black! However, I think I'm changing my mind. I will stick with black, but I want to go with neon colors – hot pink, lime green, orange, blue, and yellow…maybe red. I really like your ideas and am looking forward to the rest of the "blog-hop".
I'm doing black and white with a pop of color.
Polka dot…polka dot…polka dot! Navy, green, lime green, and a little turquoise.

This August, I will be starting my first year! π I think my theme will be bright colors & Chevron!
WOW what an awesome set of giveaways. I'm so glad I can be a part of it all!
My theme will be owls mixed in with some chevron in pink, green, & blue! =)
I am injured and moving classrooms so I am hoping to just get my room set up :-). I have lots of owls and bright colors in my decor.
My theme is not very original or exciting, but it is what I am known for….a smiley theme. My students have been known to comment that I am "obsessed with smileys". π With older kids, I never wanted to go with anything too cutesy, though I LOVE cutesy, so I just use lots of primary colors and my smiles. It works. It helps remind me to keep a smile on my face, too, and it is kind of nice to be known for a certain theme. Lots of times, current and former students will come to me so excited over a smiley item they found in some store or a rummage sale and bought just for me! Guess, it serves as a special connection between us. π
My theme is robots, gears, and lightbulbs
My theme is Black, hot pink, and hot blue. I will be adding chalkboard accents this year!
My classroom is full of frogs! They are definitely staying but I am adding chevrons and dots! I am a graduate of McNeese State University from Jennings, Louisiana. I have been teaching in NC for 25 years. If you get a chance, check out my blog: mboydjustsaying.blogspot.com. Thanks.
We're going on a safari this year, and we're wild about reading!
My theme is an ocean/beach
My classroom theme is just going to be very colorful. I'm trying to stick with mainly shades of aqua, light/lime green, and pink, but there are couple other pops of other colors in there as well. π
This is such a neat idea! My theme will be the same as last year- a color theme mainly using teal and yellow (with a little pink, purple and green splashed around occasionally in small details)
My theme was updated last year, it's kind of an amalgam of Tiffany blue accents with polka dot primary colours. Kind of like my blog page. I do love BLING too so I have some gold and silver stars hung from the ceiling!

I have never, ever had a theme. I am trying to decide whether to jump on the bandwagon and have one… or just make my room clean, cute, organized, and cheerful. I am still undecided! I am thinking about how cute gray and white chevron plus yellow would be, though.
I have a colorful theme! My bulletin boards are covered with yellow paper with border that is black with colorful dots. Then I have black crates and shelves filled with book boxes, each bow is a different color. It is a bright and cheery first grade room!
Since I teach 4th grade in Texas, my theme last year was Texas….cowboy hats, saddles, boots….you get the idea. I think I will add to that with more cute decorations….hopefully I can find some neat stuff at the Bullock Museum gift shop when I go to Austin at the end of the month!

I don't really have a classroom theme but more so a color scheme which is turquoise and brown.
I don't have a class next year (as of yet). I subbed all of last year so we'll see if I get hired on for this year. I am debating on doing a Dr.Seuss theme with fun colors, or either going simple with a black and teal and maybe some polka dots theme. It's so hard waiting especially when I see all these great ideas and the teachers already organizing and arranging their room. Oh well. Gives me time to find amazing giveaways.
Thanks for organizing this great giveaway. I entered all four of the giveaways because I don't have the slightest clue what could be teaching.
